I have been around the newspaper business since I was 1 yr old. My mom began working in the call center at The Dallas Morning News (a property of A. H. Belo) in April 1974. I came to A. H. Belo's DFW Suburban Newspaper, located in Arlington, Texas, in February 1992 as a subscription telemarketer. Within one week I moved into their circulation customer service department and held many positions in circulation until August 1994 when I moved into classified sales. In June 1997 I moved to The Dallas Morning News classified department and spent the next 12 years as one of the top sales people of the department holding position in both inside as well as outside sales. When A. H. Belo decided to change their advertising system I became engrossed with learning everything there was to know about the system and moved over to IT as a System Administrator in November 2009. I have since become one of the “go to” people when it has to anything to do with our Newscycle set up. I love attending the Newscycle conferences as well as being a presenter and sharing how we do thing in Dallas.
